Production tools. Looks after the production Mac, so it’s ready when the show is.

The problem

A production MacBook has to stay awake, plugged in, out of Low Power Mode, and never update itself.
Any of those can change during the week, and nobody notices until something goes wrong mid-service.
No volunteer can be expected to check all of that before every service.

The solution

It manages the Mac: every 15 seconds it checks sleep, Low Power Mode, updates and the charger, and says what to fix.
At login it checks the DMX interface and Stream Deck are connected, then opens the show in Lightkey.
One button starts the show by hand. When all’s well, it’s just a tick in the menu bar.
